I was introduced to yoga as a child, watching my
mother practice intriguing and beautiful poses.
I became a student of yoga in the 1990s and
began teaching it in 2001. My style is vinyasa
which is energetic and powerful and hatha which
is quiter. The dynamic vinyasa sequencing
combines flowing yoga, pilates for core
strength and mindful meditation. The hatha
sequencing is focused in a gentler, slower
direction.
My yoga journey has taken me to many
wonderful and unexpected places including
Riviera Maya, Mexico as an instructor at an
exclusive resort and instructor to the Steely
Dan Band and the Rockettes at their
appearances in Cleveland.

It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something.
May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind,
bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.

My classes are inspired by yoga greats including
Rodney Yee, Sean Corne, Brian Kest and Rolf
Gates, and locally by Marni Task and Judi Bar.
But my most important learning has come from
my students, my true teachers.
My yoga teacher training was completed at the
Sophia Center at Ursuline College through Jan
Hauenstein's T.R.Y. 4 Life Yoga Teacher
Training School. I am registered with Yoga
Alliance and also have a yoga certification
through Aerobic and Fitness Association of
America (AFAA). I have two pilates mat
certifications: AFAA and YMCA of America.
